Desi Ivanova is an LA based actress (and at times a writer). She is a theatre alumni of Adelaide College of The Arts (South Australia) and UTAS (Tasmania), where she acquired her Bachelors of Contemporary Arts. 

She received the "2008 Minter Ellison-Rising Star Award" for best emerging actress in South Australia. 

Theatre is Desi's first love. Some of her credits include: Clov in Beckett's "End Game", Anne Page in Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives of Windsor", Masha in Chekov's "The Seagull", Malory Kingsley in the musical "City of Angels", Carol in Shepard's "Red Cross". 

Currently Desi is a writer and actress at the LA based theatre group THE MISERABLE BRILLIANCE ENSEMBLE.  They are a creative group of diverse actors who write, direct and produce original works.

Film and the art of cinema is Desi's other great passion. She has appeared in numerous short films including "THE INTRUDER" which was an official selection at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival Awards and "LAMENTABLES"- a short she produced, wrote and starred in, which was selected at the LA Femme Film Festival and the LA International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts.

In 2013 she made her feature film debut in the horror "THE BELL WITCH HAUNTING".

Later that year she co-starred in three other independent features: the quirky comedy "KIDNEY AND APPLE", the romantic drama "LITTLE YELLOW BIRD" and the thriller "EMMA'", which she co-wrote with director Vlad Feier.

She is also the co-producer, co-writer and actress of the comedy web-seriess "IT'S TEMPORARY" which received an award of merit at the 2013 Accolade Competition and was an official selection of the 2014 LA WEB SERIES FESTIVAL and the 2013 NEXT TV web-series competition.
